Conclusion: The Flyover man is on full swing, the only Minister got appreciated even by the opposition.
Nitin Gadkari, during his college time, used to play an active role in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and later in the Indian politics of the Bharatiya Janata Party's Yuva Morcha and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. From 1995 to 1999, he held the office of Minister of Public Works. During his tenure, he took many important decisions in which to raise the issue of investment by private companies for development in the local area is worth to mention. Then slowly he started laying a vast network of roads. There were many villages where the road was built for the first time since independence. In the time of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he also made the Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana a on ground reality. He had played the key role in this project. He had consistently won the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and was a PWD Minister and as a Minister, he headed the construction of a lot of flyovers along with making roads in Nagpur, after which he was also known as the Flyover Man.

Q.profile question
Q.Can Nitin Gadkari be the next Prime Minister?
This question can be answered in two ways. Let's talk about 1st one which is trickey:- When we see the recruitment strategy of BJP, it’s so unpredictable that we cannot guess who could be the next in line unlike Congress or any other political party. Before 2014, no one had even thought of Sh. Modi’s name as the PM candidate. After that, Sh. Amit Shah became the party President. No one predict t ... ct that earlier. Thereafter, in Modi 2.0 cabinet 2019, Amit Shah took the charge of Home Minister & Sh. JP Nadda became the party President. Now look at the 2017 UP state assembly elections. All were assuming the name of Sh. Maurya as Chief Minister, but suddenly party and elected MLA’s selected the name of Sh. Yogi Adityanath. Unlike Congress pre selected Sh. Gehlot in Rajasthan, Sh. Kamanath in Madhya Pradesh or Captain Amarinder Singh in Punjab. Also, if we look back to the pre 2014 politics, the post of BJP’s President post was always unpredictable. It’s not sure shot like another Gandhi or Yadav or Thackery will hold the powers. BJP always followed the democratic values within the party. So the conclusion of entire discussion is that it so so so unpredictable that who could be the next PM or President or something else candidate in BJP, hence, yes Gadkari holds the equal probability of becoming the PM candidate. **Now let’s talk about the easy one: **If we see the current politics of BJP high command, it’s not that easy for Gadkari to be the next PM. He is not that much popular in masses. He is not in direct contact with the common people like Yogi or Amit Shah. During 2014, it was Modi’s wave which flew away the entire opposition in elections. Same was repeated in 2019 also. Modi’s name is enough for winning the assembly elections too. Yes it’s true that they lost few states also but that’s the part of the game. BJP still holds the majority of states. Also, look at the election rallies or tv debates. Gadkari is nowhere. High command send him nowhere to address rallies, to address people, to make promises, to give/sell dreams to citizen & such other stuffs. This reduces the chances of him to be the PM candidate because it’s not always about how efficient you are. It’s also about how influential you are. See more
