Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is the current Minister of External Affairs, successor of Late Smt. Sushma Swaraj, a diplomat turned politician and one of the most trusted persons on whom Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi relied upon the most. He is the Rajya Sabha member from Gujrat state sponsored by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is known as the key negotiator for the famous ‘123 nuclear agreement’ or ‘Indo – US civilian nuclear agreement’ with US for India.
